Audeen Greer

Audeen Greer, age 88, passed away on June 20, 2025. Born on January 7, 1937, in Kelsey, Texas to Rawleigh B. and Barbara (Smith) Alexander. Audeen devoted her life to her loved ones, and her legacy will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In a beautiful union, Audeen married her beloved husband, Charles "Black" Greer, in Dallas, Texas, on December 29, 1961. Their partnership was a testament to love and commitment, exemplifying the values they instilled in their family. Audeen took great pride in being surrounded by her children and grandchildren, relishing every moment spent together, and always welcoming them with a warm smile.  Audeen enjoyed a variety of hobbies and interests throughout her life. Her passions for reading and crafting were not only sources of joy for her but also avenues through which she expressed her creativity. A storehouse of warmth and wisdom, Audeen found fulfillment in simple pleasures and in the company of her siblings, with whom she shared many treasured memories.  Audeen’s life was marked by kindness and devotion, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those who loved her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her sweet spirit and the unwavering love she shared with her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband Charles “Black” Greer; parents, Rawleigh B. and Barbara Alexander; and Veda Faye Alen

Surviving to cherish her memories are her children, Cynthia “Nell” Keathley, Gary Wayne Greer (Demetria), and Michael Charles Greer; siblings, Lynda Barney, “Butch” Raleigh Alexander, Sherryl Prestenbach (Barry) Aaron Greer, Zachary Greer, Gabriela Greer, grandchildren Shawn Trammell and Jennifer Greer; Brittney Keathley and April Gautney; great grand children Chazz Keathley and Harmonie Gautney, Breanna Trammell, Christopher Tucker, and Kaytlyn Tucker; along with multiple friends and extended family members.
