Billie Jean Wafford

Billie Jean Wafford, age 88, passed away on August 27, 2026, in Kemp, Texas. She was born on August 25, 1938, in Cottonwood, Texas, to George and (Nora) Alene (Moore) Brazier.

Billie was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Wafford; her parents, George Brazier and Alene Brazier Wright; her children, Carolyn Hardman, Larry Busby, Tefon (Taffy) Robinson, and Tammy Elder; and her siblings, Dorothy Tucker, Dewayne Wright, and Lee Wright.

She is survived by her son, Harold Askew of Wills Point, Texas; her sister, Delores People of Kemp, Texas; and her grandchildren, Michael Good, Johnny Busby, Billy Jack Busby, L.T. Busby, Michelle Busby, Marty Robinson Jr., Jason Robinson, Paul Askew, Kimberly Eagan, Chad Eagan, Lindsey Eagan, Kasey Jones, Cody Jones, and Daranda Elder; as well as other extended family members.
