In Loving Memory of Bryan Alton McGowan
Bryan Alton McGowan, 42, passed away on July 1, 2026. He was born on January 31, 1984, to Dennis McGowan and Paula McGowan.
Bryan was known for his quick wit, sarcastic sense of humor, and ability to make those around him laugh. He was a loyal friend and, above all else, a devoted father. While he enjoyed fishing, playing video games, and spending quality time with his children, nothing in his life brought him greater pride or joy than being their dad.
His children were the center of his world and his greatest accomplishment. Whether they were sharing stories, playing games, or simply spending time together, Bryan treasured every moment with Allana, Bryleigh, and Dylan. The love he had for them was unwavering, and that love will continue to live on in their hearts forever.
Bryan is survived by his beloved family. His Children; Allana McGowan, Bryleigh McGowan, and Dylan McGowan. His brother, Eric McGowan; the mother of his children, Laci Boulware; his Uncles, Dalton McGowan & Daniel McGowan; his Aunts, Dorie McCann and Tabby Clark and their spouses and many other family members, friends, and loved ones who will cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Paula McGowan; his father, Dennis McGowan; grandparents, Charles McGowan and Ellen McGowan, John Shaw & Doreen (Dee) Freeman.
Bryan will be remembered for his humor, his loyalty, and the love he poured into the people who mattered most to him. Although his time with us was far too short, the memories he created and the impact he made will never be forgotten.
His legacy lives on through his children-the greatest gift he left behind. May those who loved him find comfort in the memories they shared, the laughter he brought into their lives, and the enduring love that will remain long after his passing.
A memorial service celebrating Bryan's life will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the family home, 29123 CR 2100, Kemp, TX 75143.
Family and friends are invited to gather to honor his life, share memories, and celebrate the love and joy he brought to those around him.
"Those we love don't go away; they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near"
