CHRISTINE MARIE AHRLETT was born to Wladysawa (Wanda) Baczek of Poland, on May 26th 1947 in Schweinfurt Germany.

Wanda married William Russell Ahrlett Jr. of Llano Texas, who was a soldier in the US Army. He subsequently adopted Kris in 1953.

Kris had many maternal family members in Poland, and corresponded with them for much of her life.

In approximately 1954, Kris and family settled in San Antonio TX.

Kris attended MacArthur high school in San Antonio and graduated in the class of 1965. It was there that Kris met her lifelong friend, Cindy Goodwin. While living in San Antonio, Kris was employed by Braniff airlines as a ticket agent.

In the mid to late 70’s, Kris gained her Real Estate Salesman certification. She then became a real estate agent for Century 21.

As a member of the Dallas Apartment Association, Kris managed an apartment complex in Rockwall Texas.

After two previous marriages, in 1981 Kris married Billy Robert (B.R.) Daniel, a prominent Dallas area Banker. After Bill retired from banking, Kris and Bill owned and ran a successful real estate inspection business. Kris and Bill lived happily together, residing in the Lakewood area of Dallas. Bill passed away in 2002.

Kris was a very private and simple person. She had no children and loved animals, especially her cats. Her hobbies included art and gardening.

Kris is survived by the Daniel family, her best friend Cindy Goodwin, friends and relatives in Poland, and in the San Antonio area. She will be missed.

Kris will be laid to rest next to her husband Bill, in the historic Kemp Cemetery located on Tolosa Rd. in Kemp Texas.
