CW Fields passed away gently on June 8, 2026.

CW was a man of remarkable talents who loved to work with his hands. He spent countless hours rebuilding, fixing, and crafting beautiful things. He had a natural charm that could win over anyone, and he brought a special spark into every room he entered.

He possessed great confidence and a grand, larger-than-life presence. CW was a man who truly cast himself as the main character in the story of his life. His effortless charisma and magnetic personality naturally drew every eye and conversation toward him, a position he thoroughly enjoyed and maintained was ease. He demanded much of the world’s attention, yet he repaid it by keeping everyone around him completely captivated by his wit and flair. He leaves behind an unforgettable legacy, having lived life entirely on his own terms and in his own bright spotlight.

CW was preceded in death by his mother, Maggie Fay Fields; his father, Curtis W. Fields; his brother, Curtis D. Fields; his sister, Anna Lee McCrone; and his niece, Cynthia Creech.

He is survived by his loving wife, Janie Fields. His memory will be cherished by his children, Tammy Fields Luzar, Timothy Fields, and Clay McKinney; along with daughters-in-law, Casandra McKinney and Candy Fields; He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Caleb Fields, Micaela Fields, Breahna Brasfield, Cody Jordan, Destiny Robards, Cailyn McKinney, and Camden McKinney; his great-niece and nephews, Mystery Parker, Andrew Johnson, and Justin Creech.
