Gwen Faber

Visitation for Gwen Faber, age 91, of Tool, Texas, will be held from 3:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Funeral Home Chapel in Kemp, Texas. Ms. Faber passed peacefully in Carrollton, Texas on Friday, February 18, 2022.

Gwendolyn Mae (Degenhart) Faber was born October 13, 1930 in Dallas, Texas to Giles and Hazel (Wise) Degenhart. She married Maurice Edgar Faber on October 15, 1949 in Dallas, Texas leading her to become a homemaker looking after her children and standing faithfully by her husband. Gwen had a passion for traveling and could be found exploring with her husband in their RV and           discovering new towns, cities and sights. Gwen had the ability to make music through playing the organ and keyboard and loved to  entertain family and friends. Gwen is survived by her two children, Michele (Faber) Parker and husband Jeff of Kemp, Texas and Mark Edward Faber and wife Linda of Forney, Texas. Grandchildren: Gary Parker and wife Brandie of Larue, Texas;   Jennifer Monroe of Kemp, Texas; Timothy Parker and wife Crystal of Seven Points,   Texas; Justin Williams and wife Christen of St. Augustine, Florida; Cameron Faber and wife Amanda of Ennis, Texas; Christina Kinney and husband Chris of Mabank, Texas; Alicia   Adams and husband Travis of Forney, Texas. Great grandchildren: Payton, Aubrey,   Gunner and Hadleigh of Larue, Texas; Gabby, Brooklyn and Stephen of Kemp, Texas; Courtney, Callie, Trenton, Ali and Tanner of Seven Points, Texas; Madison and Annabelle of St. Augustine, Florida; Journey, Jaiden, Jordynn, and Justice of Mabank, Texas; Travis, Alivia, and Ethan of Forney, Texas, and one on the way. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Edgar Faber formerly of Tool, Texas; her parents, Giles and Hazel Degenhart formerly of Dallas, Texas; and her brother Marvin    Degenhart formerly of Dallas, Texas.
