Jepp Lynn Brewer, born on July 1, 1972, in Dallas, Texas. Jepp joined the Lord above in heaven peacefully on November 6, 2025.
He was the firstborn child to Gerald Brewer and Doris Stovall and had a younger sister, Stephanie Brewer. He graduated from Kemp High School in 1990. Jepp was voted Friendliest his freshman and sophomore years of high school, he always brought a smile and laugh to everyone’s day. He was involved in the Science Club, Beta Club, FFA, and band, and was president of the Spanish Club. He was accepted early to Trinity Valley Community College his senior year of high school and studied to achieve his Associate's of Science degree. Furthermore, he then went to the University of Texas at Tyler and then the University of North Texas to obtain his Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics where he then acquired his Texas Educator Certificate in May of 1995. Jepp started his teaching career in Brownsville, Texas, teaching math in both Spanish and English for 3 years before enlisting in the United States Marine Corps in July of 1998. Jepp served as a Calibration and Repair Technician and became a decorated Marine. He was awarded the Navy & Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, and the Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal. He was stationed in Japan at the Iwakuni base. He was honorably discharged in August of 2003. Jepp was a devoted husband to Kaori Nagayama and father to Kalyn and Andy Brewer. He loved spending time with his family and reading the Bible. A family man, Jepp enjoyed watching and supporting his kids play sports and always said whether they won or lost, having fun was the most important part. He had a passion for teaching and was a math teacher for 16 years. Anyone who knew Jepp knew how much he loved food, ensuring that no food went to waste at all the family gatherings. He enjoyed fishing and eating what he caught. He was very faithful and felt blessed that God had been so good to him. He loved God.
Jepp is survived by his wife, Kaori Brewer; his daughter, Kalyn Brewer; his son, Andy Brewer; his father and stepmother, Jerry and Janice Brewer, his mother and stepfather, Doris and Dave White; his sister and brother-in-law, Stephanie and Brent Smith, and nieces, Addison and Alicia Smith; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, A.C. and Faye Brewer; and Horace and Ruby Stovall.
Visitation will be held at Anderson Clayton Bros. Funeral Home, in Kemp, Texas, on November 8, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a funeral service the following day, November 9, 2025 at 1:00 PM. Jepp's interment will take place at the Pyle Prairie Cemetery upon conclusion of the service.Loved by all, Jepp will be remembered for his great humor, kindness, and compassion.
