Jimmy Pascal Hussey

The world lost a great doctor, husband, and father on January 22,2026.  Jimmy Pascal was born in Kaufman, TX on January 19, 1952, to Mildred Tucker Hussey and James Henry Hussey of Forney.

 He attended Forney schools where he was actively involved in football and basketball. He participated in various school activities such as Member of the Natl Honor Society, Speech Club, Spanish Club, and Student Council. He was a drummer. “Wipe Out” was his favorite. Jim’s after-school jobs were sacking groceries, working at the local snow cone stand, and working for Dr. Christine’s medical office in Forney. Jim graduated from High School in 1970. He earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1974. Jim’s sophomore year in college he met the love of his life, Judy Bonds from Kemp. They married on June 01, 1974, and moved to Denton. He was accepted into Medical School at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, Fort Worth May of 1974. Dr. Jim P. Hussey received his Medical License in February 1979. The next move was to Lubbock. Jim was a Captain in the United States Air Force and served as a Flight Surgeon at Reese Air Force base from 1979 to 1983. August of 1983 Jim became the proud parent of a beautiful baby girl named Jennifer Lauren. He worked on weekends as Emergency Room Doctor, Muleshoe, Tx 1980 to 1983. Next move was to Plano. He worked on weekends covering medical practice at Seven Points, worked as a part-time physician at The University of Texas at Dallas 1996 to 2005. Jim was hired as a full-time physician with Elliott Medical in Richardson in September 1983 and started his solo practice at 399 W. Campbell Rd, Richardson in 2000. He served as Chairman of Family Practice Department at Richarson Regional Medical Center 2003 to 2007,served on the Physician’s Board of Credentialing for Richardson Methodist Medical Center 2008 to 2010, received Certificate and recognition from United Healthcare for Outstanding Patient Care in the region for three consecutive years.

 He is preceded in death by his father, James H. Hussey, his mother, Mildred Tucker Hussey, his brother-in-law Joel Boles, his Mother-in-law and father-in-law Dorothy and James Bonds of Kemp, sister-in-law, Jana Bonds.

He is survived by his beloved sister, Janet D. Boles of Plano, nephew Brad Boles and his wife Ann, their son Jake and daughter Libby Boles of Plano, nephew Jeff Boles and his wife Melinda, their son, Nicholas of Norman, Oklahoma, Brother-in-law Johnny Bonds and wife Sheri of Mount Ida, AR, niece Stacey Bonds LaBauve ,her husband Brad, their twins, Darby and Bradan LaBauve of Cypress, and nephew Aaron Bonds and wife, Michelle, twins Matt and Greg Bonds of Madison, WI., Jim’s wife of fifty one years, Judy Bonds Hussey of Plano and his beloved daughter Jennifer Lauren Hussey of Forney.

Dr. Hussey loved being a doctor, a husband, a father, an uncle, a brother, a son, and a friend. He loved a good meal, a good deal, a good laugh, and time with his family and friends. He was loved and will be deeply missed.
