In loving memory of Jimmy Dell Kennimer, a devoted Christian, hard worker, and dedicated father and grandfather, who passed away March 16, 2024.
Jimmy was born on August 17, 1953, in Dallas, Texas. Throughout his life, he excelled as a business owner for over 30 years, a skilled carpenter and builder of custom homes, and a master at drywall work. His dedication to his craft was evident in the quality of his workmanship.
Outside of work, Jimmy found joy in simple pleasures. He loved spending time in the yard, riding his tractor, and most of all, cherishing moments with his beloved family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Music was also a significant part of his life, with a deep appreciation for Rock 'n Roll, Country, and Gospel genres.
Jimmy's proudest accomplishments was being a Free Mason and devoted Christian and a member of Lake View Assembly in Seven Points, Texas. His faith guided him through life's challenges and brought him immense comfort.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents Charles Clovis Kennimer and Rosie Lavelle (Canaday) Kennimer; his son Joshua Kennimer; as well as his brothers Randell, Charles, and Robert Kennimer. He leaves behind cherished memories for those who survive him.
He is survived by his sons Jimmy Lyle, Jacob, and Jeffery Kennimer; his companion of over 30 years Cynthia Loy and her children Jeremy and Calvin Loy and wife Shawna, her granddaughters Caroline (peanut) Loy and Angel Anderson; grandchildren: Alexandria, Jimmy Ray, and Rose Kennimer; great-grandchildren: Kyler, Evelyn, Jeremiah, Ellis and Aubree Kennimer; nieces: Tina Young, Tammy Seahorn, Kelly Riley and Stacy North Humes; nephews: Charlie Kennimer and Keith North; and many other dear friends and family members.
Jimmy Dell Kennimer will be dearly missed but never forgotten. May he rest in peace knowing that he touched the hearts of many with his kindness, hard work ethic, and devotion to family.
