Leanne Jean Hitzemann

Leanne Jean Hitzemann was, age 47, of Kemp, TX was born on January 1, 1975, in Grand Prairie, Texas to parents Gerald and Terry (Phillips) Hitzemann. She passed away at her home on August 23, 2022, in Kemp, TX.

Leanne was a friend to everyone she met. Throughout her life she enjoyed many hobbies, including trail riding and playing the scrub board. She also loved her work as a nail technician. Leanne had huge love for all things tie-dye and turquoise (her favorite color).

She is preceded in death by her father, Gerald Hitzemann; step dad, Eric Humble; and aunt, Sandra Insco.

Leanne is survived by her mother, Terry Phillips of Kemp, TX; grandmother, Elenore Hitzemann of Akron, IA; aunt, Renee Benning of Plainsfield, IA; brothers, Cody Humble and spouse Lauran of Kemp, TX and Joseph Humble and spouse Laura of Kemp TX; nephews, Braiden Humble of Kemp, TX, Hotrod Humble of Kemp, TX, Chase Humble of Kemp, TX, Chris Hood of Jarrell, TX, Jack Humble of Kemp, TX, Little Joe Humble of Kemp, TX; nieces, Bella Humble of Kemp, TX, Shelby Humble of Kemp, TX, and Lexi Hood Edwards and husband Keith of Jarrell, TX; and cousin, Levi Benning of Plainsfield, IA.

Leanne will be greatly missed but we cherish her memory and feel blessed to have known her and to have had her as a daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.
