Maddison "Maddi", age 16, of Kemp, Texas passed away on March 5, 2026, in Mabank, Texas. She was born on September 17, 2009, in Kaufman, Texas to parents Terry and Maria (Allen) Dyer.

Maddison “Maddi” Elaine Dyer was a bright and unforgettable soul whose presence brought laughter, warmth, and light to everyone around her. Maddi had a personality that could fill any room — bubbly, funny, and full of life. She had the kindest heart and a natural ability to make people feel welcomed, valued, and loved. Anyone who knew Maddi knew she would do just about anything for someone in need, even if that person was a complete stranger.Maddi loved theater and sports and had a competitive spirit that showed in everything she did. She enjoyed being involved in theater and proudly served as a stage manager, where she brought dedication, organization, and enthusiasm to every production she helped bring to life. Whether it was theater, sports, or simply spending time with friends, Maddi lived life with energy and passion.She worked at Slice Pizza, where her coworkers quickly became like family to her.Maddi had a way of building strong relationships with people, and she formed meaningful friendships everywhere she went. Her humor, loyalty, and vibrant personality made her someone others were naturally drawn to.Outside of work and school, Maddi loved the fun and simple things in life — shopping, makeup, taking pictures, watching Fortnite on YouTube, blasting music in the car with the windows down, and spending time with friends. More than anything, Maddi loved being surrounded by the people she cared about.The most special relationship in Maddi’s life was with her mother, Mimi. The two shared a bond that went far beyond that of mother and daughter — they were truly best friends. Maddi loved doing everything with Mimi. Whether they were talking for hours, going places together, laughing about the little things, or simply enjoying each other’s company, Maddi cherished every moment they spent together. Mimi was her biggest supporter, her comfort, her partner in everyday life, and the person she trusted most. Their relationship was filled with love, laughter, and an unbreakable connection.Maddi also shared a very close bond with her father. She knew he was always there for her. The love between them was strong and constant, and she carried that love with her everywhere she went.Maddi’s older sister held a very special place in her life as well. Their relationship was filled with love, laughter, and the kind of bond only sisters understand. Maddi looked up to her and cherished the time they spent together, sharing stories, memories, and moments that will forever be held close in their hearts.She also shared a deep and loving bond with her brothers. Maddi loved them fiercely and was incredibly proud of them. Their relationship was full of laughter, teasing, and the kind of loyalty that only siblings share. No matter what, her brothers always held a special place in her heart. She always won the “Golden Trophy” Colton would bribe her and Dillan with.Maddi also shared a special bond with her cousins, who were an important part of her life growing up. They shared countless memories filled with laughter, fun, and family gatherings that will always be cherished. To Maddi, her cousins were more than just relatives — they were her extended siblings.Maddi found great joy in being an aunt and loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. Being part of their lives meant the world to her, and she cherished every moment spent laughing, playing, and making memories with them.Those who knew Maddi will remember her as strong yet gentle, sensitive, influential, and full of love for others. She had a rare ability to make people feel included and valued, always making sure that no one felt left out. Maddi seemed able to pick up almost anything quickly, and there wasn’t much she couldn’t learn or accomplish when she set her mind to it.Her loved ones will forever cherish the memories she created — the laughter-filled moments, playful competitions like UNO(if you know you know), joking with family and friends, and car rides with the windows down and music blasting. Maddi had a way of making even the smallest moments feel special.Though her time here was far too short, Maddi’s life was filled with love, laughter, and meaningful connections. The impact she made on those around her will never fade. Her kindness, humor, and beautiful spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to have known her.Maddi will always be remembered as the sweetest soul you could ever meet.Maddison was preceded in death by her grandparents, Billie and Robert Dyer (Memaw and Papa), and by her aunt and uncles, Tania Allen, Nicolas Allen, and Robbie Dyer.She leaves behind a large and loving family who will cherish her memory always. Maddison is survived by her parents, Maria and Terry Dyer, and her siblings, Brandon and Brittney Dyer, Kaylan Dyer and Justin Arterburn, Colton and Summer Dyer, and Dillan Dyer.She is also survived by her grandparents, Janice and Robin Qubty and Kirk Allen.Maddison leaves behind many loving aunts and uncles, Kevin Allen and Shay Greer, Vanessa and Tommy Weisinger, Christopher and Julie Allen, and Kevin Dyer.She is also survived by many cousins who loved her dearly, Jessica and Steven Bostick, Jaymi and Brody Hollingsworth, Mason Weisinger, Dalton Weisinger, Katie and Christopher Cruz, Meagan Allen, Jeremy Allen, Haley Allen, Lane Allen and Kaitlyn Leftwich, Austin Allen, and Garrett Allen.She also leaves behind her beloved nieces and nephews, Jaxon and Mackenzie Arterburn, Brody Hollingsworth, Jhett Hollingsworth, Paxton Dyer, Georgia Dyer, and Stormi Bostick, who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
