Mary Evelyn Teel

Mary Evelyn Teel, age 76, passed away on January 14, 2023, at her residence in Kemp, TX. Mary was born on January 15, 1946, to parents Carman and Evelyn (Edes) Mitchell, in Amarillo, TX.

Mrs. Teel was a loving woman and she made sure to show that love to her friends and family at every chance she got. She also loved to cook and would always take every chance to watch basketball, or her favorite crime show. She also enjoyed doing artwork and had a special fondness for coloring.

Mary is preceded in death by her mother, Evelynn Fenolio; stepfather, Jack Fenolio; daughter, Teresa Sims; her sister, Beverly Allen; her stepson, Kirk Teel and husband, Bill Teel.

Surviving to cherish Mary’s memory is her sister, Clara Boyd; sons, Joel and wife Cherl Spann of Sanger, TX, and Jerry and wife Carol Williams of Kemp, TX; three stepsons, Shane and wife Jackie Teel of Blum, TX, Mark and Vanessa Teel of Alvarado, TX, and Billy and wife Lisa Teel of Irving. Along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
