Sabrina Lynn (Harper) Blaylock

February 18, 1961 — September 14, 2024

Sabrina Lynn (Harper) Blaylock, passed away on September 14, 2024 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Sabrina was born February 18th, 1961, in Greenville, Texas; as the youngest of three children to Billie and Royce Harper Sr.

Sabrina was a true character with everyone she met, she loved to be the center of attention and made sure everyone knew it. Being the only girl, growing up with two older brothers, she always looked up to “Deanie” (JR) and Richard who enjoyed spending time with them any chance she got. I will never forget the times they had with her Doberman Pinscher she named Tana, boy what a mess that dog was but she got him trained well in the end. Her love for animals continued to grow as she did with herself and her personal goals and careers.  Often supporting sporting events such as baseball, football and soccer. As it was, she indeed excelled in her own "soft ball" interest and excelled as a fielder and a catcher in her time in school. Sabrina attended middle school at Goddard (KS) and Northwest High School in Wichita, KS and was in the first graduating class in 1979. Sabrina continued her education at Wichita State University and obtained two degrees pursuing a business and pre-law degree. She spent time working for many non-profit organizations and found passion in working with those who needed a helping hand whether that was with Venture House or doing private work writing grants for programs in the Sedgwick County area as well as statewide in Kansas. Sabrina was fond of horses and was passionate about family and friend gatherings alike, she loved to host and displayed a passion for multi-course cooking presentations for everyone, there was not a meal she did not aspire to master that was passed down from previous generations of Harper and Bevill family women. She had various hobbies including, but not limited to, hiking, cooking, skiing, swimming, charitable event planning, etc. Sabrina had many dogs during her life and had a soft heart for dogs in need. In her later years Sabrina found joy in the lord and was very passionate about her faith, she wrote many devotionals to the Cowboy Church in Wichita Falls Texas that she attended. Sabrina had a heart of pure gold and always wanted to make sure everyone was thought of and never hesitated to call if you came to her mind. Which she often accomplished! She was a blessing in this life and touched many family members, friends and neighbors’ lives that she encountered. and she can finally rest in the peaceful hands of the lord as of September 14, 2024.  Sabrina was "one-of-a kind" and shall be remembered often- author, family.
