Shirley LaVonne Arther

Shirley LaVonne Arther, age 69, of Greenville, TX passed away on February 10, 2022. Shirley was born on May 1, 1952, in Kemp, TX to John and Velma B Askew.

Shirley graduated high school and then proceeded to get her associates degree. She enlisted into the US Navy on July 14, 1989, and was honorably discharged on April 8, 1996, for the completion of the required services. She was an avid reader and enjoyed creating different crafts with her special touch.

Shirley is preceded in death by her mother Velma B Askew; her husband Victor Arther and her brother Ray Allen Askew.

Shirley is survived by her son, Josh Arther of Greenville, TX; sister Sandy Belcher and husband, Obie of Mineola, TX; brothers, Johnny Foster of Mineola, TX, and Gary Foster and wife Michelle of Amarillo, TX, she is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other beloved family and friends who will miss her dearly.
