Teresa Lane Boyer

Teresa Lane (Collins) Boyer, age 70, passed away on August 21, 2026, in Dallas, Texas. She was born on October 15, 1955, in Dallas, Texas, to Dewayne Dal and Mollie Marie (Garner) Collins.

Teresa was a graduate of Seagoville High School and went on to build a career marked by dedication and leadership. She served as a Medical Records Supervisor at Scottish Rite Hospital and later worked as a supervisor with Dynagear Incorporated. Outspoken and opinionated, Teresa was never one to leave you wondering what was on her mind. But behind that strong personality was a caring and loving woman who was always willing to help others. She took great pride in being a single mother, working hard to provide for her children while remaining an active and devoted part of their lives. Whether coaching cheerleading or softball in Seagoville, Texas, Teresa could always be found supporting her children and giving her time to the community around her. Some of Teresa's fondest memories were rooted in the simple joys of life—playing softball as a child, swimming at the community pool where her mother worked, and spending time surrounded by her family, sisters, and cousins. She treasured simply living life with those she loved. As the years went by, she continued to enjoy the things that brought her happiness, including settling in to watch her favorite soap operas. Even during her time at Kemp Care Center, Teresa's unmistakable personality never faded. She genuinely enjoyed giving the nurses and staff a run for their money and keeping everyone on their toes daily, carrying herself with all the confidence in the world. Her spirited nature, quick opinions, caring heart, and unmistakable presence made her someone who was not easily forgotten.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dal and Mollie Collins; her sister and brother-in-law, Tomi and Rick Fincher; and her nephews, Rick Fincher and Brian Fincher.

She is survived by her sister, Jodi Collins of Keene, Texas; daughter, Nicol Green of Mabank, Texas; granddaughters, Ciarra Green of Trinidad, Texas, Savannah Hill of Scurry, Texas, Arianna Hill of Kaufman, Texas, and Lauren Green of Seven Points, Texas; son, Steve Green and wife, Tracie, of Seven Points, Texas; nephews, Cody Collins of Keene, Texas, and Tyler Collins of Hamilton, Texas; as well as a host of cousins, friends, loved ones, and the many bonus kids whose lives she touched.

Above all, Teresa will be remembered for the life she built around the people she loved—her strength as a mother, her devotion to her family, her willingness to help others, and the unmistakable personality she brought wherever she went. She lived life on her own terms, loved her family deeply, and leaves behind countless memories that will continue to be shared by those who knew and loved her.
