Walter Wylie Andrews, Sr.

Walter Wylie Andrews, Sr, 87, passed away on June 14, 2023, in Garland, Texas. He was born on January 21, 1936, in Kemp, Texas to parents Tommie and Meril (Wallace) Andrews.

Walter grew up in Texas until he began a career with the Air Force and moved to California. During the 1970’s, Mr. Andrews returned to Garland, Texas where he spent the rest of his life. Walter worked hard his entire life to support his beloved family.  He worked as a mechanical contractor and in his free time he enjoyed rebuilding cars and spending time with his family.

Mr. Andrews is preceded in death by his parents, Tommie and Meril Andrews

Surviving to cherish the memory of Mr. Andrews are his children, Clarence Edward Andrews, Walter (Tiger) Wylie Andrews, Jr., and Lena Meril Haynie Andrews; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
