About Us

A a native of the area and Alumni of Kemp High School, Lorena is familiar with the surrounding communities and its distinct needs. She is the first ever Distinguished Graduate of Mortuary Science and number one in her class at the San Antonio College of Mortuary Science.   Lorena’s passion is taking care of the deceased, guiding people through the process as compassionately as possible, and helping families celebrate the life of their loved ones. When asked what made you decide to take this job? Lorena responded “As someone with a lot of empathy, compassion and a “servant’s heart,” I found I had a desire to help people who are going through one of the worst times of their lives.”  On her downtime, Lorena is a foodie, likes to read fiction, do crosswords, play videogames and listen to live music.

A native of Kemp, Debra has a passion for helping those that she comes in contact with.  She is the kind and reassuring voice you will hear when calling and attentive individual you will meet when you come into the funeral home.
